Trip To Samoa

In the holidays I went to Samoa with my family. We went on a big plane.
 I went to the beach to play on the beautiful white sand. I made a big sand castle and put shells around it. Then we had our dinner at the beach. We had taro and chicken. After dinner my sister and my cousin had a swim because it was very hot. 
We all had a really great time.

Persuasive Writing: Argue Against Chocolate

                                                                                

I think children should not be allowed to eat chocolates whenever they want to because they are not good for them.  

They are full of sugar and they are too sweet. Chocolates are bad for their teeth. Sweets rot their teeth.  Eating too many will make them feel sick. I think children should only be allowed to eat one chocolate for a treat. 

So children keep away from chocolates!!!

                                   

Mediation

In Room 2 I am learning how to do meditation. I can do meditation when I sit and stay still, close my eyes, breathe gently and place my hands on my lap.
In meditation I listen to God. Meditation helps me to listen and stayed focused.

Road Safety Certificate

This is my School Road Safety Certificate. It was given to me by Constable Cyrus for passing my road safety drill.

Road safety

Constable Cyrus visited us in Room 2. He talked to us about safety on the road. He said, you have to Stop, Look, Listen and decide before you cross. He took us for a walk on the foot path. We looked out for cars moving on the drive ways. Then on Tuesday I had a ride in the police car. When I got in the car I put on my seat belt. Constable Cyrus put on the Siren on our way back . 
I enjoyed riding in the police car. It was an awesome feeling.
