Christiaan Barnard

Christiaan Barnard

Christiaan Barnard was a South African cardiac surgeon who performed the world's first ever heart transplant surgery. Christiaan Barnard was born in Beaufort West, South Africa, 8th November 1922. When Christiaan Barnard graduated he went to study medicine at the University of Cape Town Medical School. On the 3rd of December 1967 Christiaan Barnard became well known for performing the first ever heart-to-heart operation on his patient Louis Washkansky. Sadly Christiaan Barnard passed away due to a fatal asthma attack on the 2nd September, 2001. I believe it’s important to remember Christiaan Barnard as he was the first person to come up with the idea of a heart transplant. Without his amazing idea a lot of people in this world would’ve been gone, so thankfully Christiaan Barnard was here in this world to show others his surgeon skills who carried it down to others to this day.

Would You Rather Have A Magical Wand Or Magical Hands?

Deciding between having a wand with magic or having magical hands is simply easy to choose in my opinion, I’d choose magical hands. Having a wand for magic is also a fine choice but if it means you have to carry it with you everywhere, then I’m not the person for it seeing as I lose a lot of stuff quite easily. Using magic with my hands seems easier and faster since you don’t have to take a wand out every time you need to use it, especially if you’re needing to be quick. With magical hands you can be very low key about your magic instead of people seeing you with a wand waving it around like crazy. Wands could also either get broken or stolen.

Would You Rather Be The Heroic Lead In A Story Or The Villain?

I would rather be the villain in the story, being the heroic lead seems like too much work for me and I’d have to carry such a huge responsibility. Although being the villain in the story isn’t fun, it’s better then feeling guilty about a ton of people's deaths. Being a villain doesn’t seem hard but I know for sure it’s not easy seeing as a ton of superheroes are really strong, but one thing about villains is that they don’t give up when they’re supposed to and I’d want to have that kind of motivation as one, some villains are also seen as smart as they make huge plans to take over the whole world, which somewhat seems entertaining in my eyes, but if I was caught and was brought to jail then I wouldn’t really mind since it’s better then always trying to save people night and day without any rest, but if I die then at least I died motivated and smart, plus everyone dies at one point.

Would You Rather Be Trapped In A Video Game Or Your Favourite TV Show/Movie?

If I had to choose between teleporting into a video game or straight into my favourite TV show or movie, I’d choose to be in a video game. Being in my favourite movie or TV show is an amazing choice but because I practically know everything about the movie it wouldn't be so fun and all the plot twists wouldn’t be so surprising. In a video game I believe that I’d have multiple lives and I don’t need to rush, unless there’s a timer that I need to beat. Also if I’m in a video game then I’m probably not the one controlling myself which does make it harder but since I can never decide what to do for myself it’d probably be easier, but if it were me being able to control myself then it'd be decent as I can do what I want. I can also redo missions that I wasn't able to do last time which can probably help me pass a level of the video game or give me a reward, but that is just if I understand the objective of the game

Would You Rather Be Stranded On A Desert Island Or Stranded In A Deep Forest?

Choosing between being stranded on a desert island or stranded deep in a forest are two hard choices, seeing as I would probably not survive in either situation, but if I were to choose I’d probably be stranded deep in the forest, why? Well because their are some foods in the forest that I could possibly eat so I don’t starve, for water I could find a nearby lake to drink from despite the water having bacteria and causing sickness. Luckily the forest has a lot of sticks, leaves and rocks which I can use to make shelter for myself and fire for warmth. Another reason why I’d be stranded in a deep forest is because I can actually find a way out, unlike a desert island, I’d probably have to wait for a ship/boat to come and save me.

Would You Rather Have Wings To Fly Or Gills To Breathe Underwater?

If I were to choose between flying using wings or having gills to breathe underwater, I’d choose breathing underwater. Flying with wings sounds cool and all but not if you are afraid of heights and if I weren’t afraid of height I probably wouldn’t fly that much anyways. Breathing underwater sounds so fun seeing as I can swim for as long as I want in the water without having to put my head up and catch my breath, but people would think I’m drowning if I stay down for too long. With the ability of having gills to breathe underwater I could explore the sea life, but I wouldn’t have enough guts to do that because I might actually die exploring, especially by myself due to some sea creatures that I am not aware of. Would You Rather Stop Time Or Go Back In Time?

If I were to choose between stopping time and going back in time, I would rather go back in time, the reason being is, if I had the ability to turn back time I could fix some mistakes I’ve made in the past, I'll also want to see what life was like back and if it really was how I imagined. If I could go back in time to when my parents were my age then I definitely wouldn’t regret my choice going back, as I can then see what mischievous things they've done.
