Letter Invitation+Sleeping Beauty Visits St. Patrick's- By Ellma
Learning Intention:W.A.L.T-write a letter of invitation.
Success Criteria: I am successful when I can write a letter of invitation.
Dear Sleeping Beauty,
I am inviting you to come and visit St. Patrick's School and spend the day with me and my friends.
Sleeping Beauty Visits St. Patricks

Success Criteria: I am successful when I can change the beginning and ending of my story.
One day, a couple of months ago I invited my friend Sleeping Beauty to come play with me and my classmates. When I arrived in the classroom she was standing in the middle of the class. I gave her the biggest hug and my friends did too.
First we played tag. She was amazing at that game. She tagged all of us including the fast people. I was so surprised. After playing she took a rest and played with the boys.
Sleeping Beauty and the boys played hide-and-seek. She was good at that game too. When the boys were in, they couldn't find her, but when she was in, she found them easily. The boys were so embarrassed because they were boys and she was a girl and the boys thought they were better then girls. She laughed and we laughed with her. The boys were annoyed.
The bell rang for lunch and we all sat with Sleeping Beauty. While Sleeping Beauty was waiting for us to finish our food she told us some funny jokes, and we all laughed. We all tried making her laugh but our jokes were not that funny, unlike Sleeping Beauty's.
Later Sleeping Beauty had to leave, but before she left she told us one more joke and it was funnier then the jokes she told us before. Finally we gave her a c big bear hug and said goodbye to her. She was awesome to play with.

We celebrate Christmas, because we are celebrating the birthday of Jesus. Jesus is like a gift to us because he died on the cross for us to forgive our sins. We are really grateful for Jesus to be alive because he healed a lot of sick people.
We celebrate Christmas, because we can spend more time with family and friends. We can play sports like volleyball, and touch. We can go on trips to other cities, including other countries.
We celebrate Christmas because we can wrap presents and leave cookies and milk for Santa to eat and drink. We can also be surprised of what gift he will give us. We can send gifts to your relatives or friends to another country or you can be the gift to them.

My Summer Holiday-By Ellma
On Saturday me and my family went to Manurewa to play golf. The place we went to was called Golf Raging. Before going we went to packinsave to buy some drinks, the drinks we bought were Lipton, Coke, Gatorade, Mountain dew and water. Also the Food we bought were some watermelons and chips.
Then we went to Golf raging. We had to pay $14 to get our number ticket for golf balls. Then we went to find our golf clubs. After that we went to get our golf balls, we got about 100 I think. Than we went to find our stations.
When we found our stations we got all our golf balls and put them on this white stand. Their was also a line on the deck, you can't cross the line or you'll get hit with the golf club. When I had my turn I tried my best to hit the golf ball because I kept on missing and then I finally hit it but it was a small hit. Then it was my cousins turn I shouted out "hit it hit it" then she hit it to the 100. I didn't expect it to go their I wanted it to be in the 50.
Then we went to KFC because we were hungry, we had fries, Sparkling Raspberry and Coke. Then we went home and took a little nap. I had a good time with my cousins.

Kiwi Bird(Information Report)-By Ellma
Introduction: The kiwi bird is a non flying bird and is one of New Zealand's Native birds. Kiwis are being threatened and shortened by hunters, dogs, cats, rats and stoats.
Appearance
The Kiwi stands up to 25 inches tall. It has brown and black feathers, large hind legs, black eyes and a long beak that uses to eat food. Due to its colour, it camouflages easily. Sporting small wings, the kiwi is unable to fly. This means it lives on the forest floor.
Habitat
Commonly found in New Zealand forests, the Kiwi lives, hunts and breads on the ground. Although they are native to NZ, they live around Wellington, Fiordland, North land and Stewart Islands. They are endangered species. The treats from predators are dogs, cats, rats, stoats and human hunters have left only million Kiwis in NZ.
Abilities
Kiwi's have great smell, they can see at night, they can't fly and they are active at night. t far(I think). They have good eyes at night for looking for their food and running away from their predators. They can not fly because they have no wings and they do not look like they will be in good balance. Kiwi's are also active at night because they can camouflage so they use it to hide from their predators.
Diet
Kiwi birds can eat fruit, small crayfish, eels and amphibians. Kiwis eat small invertebrates, seeds, grubs, and many different kinds of worms.
Conclusion: So we know kiwis are endangered how can you save them from going extinct.

How To Make A Blog Comment-By Ellma
Kia Ora today I am going to be telling people how to do a blog comment.
1. First you have to go on someone’s blog and read it.
2.The second step is to go to the comment section and read through it to see if anyone has your comment that you are about to put in.
3.After reading through the comments, write your comment down and make sure it is appropriate, it needs to have punctuation and correct spelling.
4. And maybe before you publish you should write down a simple question. Maybe try and start a small conversation with the author.
5. After that you should write something positive like “Keep up the good work” and maybe write their names down.
6. Read through your comment and put some more detail into it.
7.Once you think it is good enough to publish, show someone in your family or friends and ask them if they can check if it is ready to post.
