A Busy Day

On Friday morning my Papa, my Mum and I went to an appointment.  It took forever so I played some games on my iPad and after that I fell asleep.  When I woke up the appointment had finished.  When the appointment had finished we went back home and we said, "Goodbye" to my Grandpa.  He gave me two big hugs before he went home.  

When he was gone my Mum and I went to the doctors to get something out of my Mum's skin.  The nurse said, "When do you want to have your appointment?"  My Mum said on Tuesday because she was flying out that night to Australia.  Next we went to the pharmacy to get something for my Mum.  After that we went to eat something at the shop called 'My Bakery'.  

When we had finished eating we went to the airport to drop off my Mum.  Then we went to my cousin's house for a sleepover.  We took some chips with us.  My cousin Sarah and I love to play with each other.  I bought my iPad with me and we watched You Tube and played some games together.  

After that I was hungry so I ate some BQQ.  I ate sausages and rice.  I ate it all up ad I said, "Thank you for the food auntie and uncle".  Then finally we watched a movie and went to sleep.  I was very tired because I had had a busy day.

Flower Girl

On the weekend I attended my cousin Niva's wedding.  First I went to a hotel to do my dress, earings and my nail polish.  The colour of my dress is pink.  I was the flower girl.  When we went in the limo we listened to some music from my cousin's phone.  The first song we listened to was Dance Pa Cito.  I love this song.  When we got to the wedding I gave out flowers for the bride to walk down the isle.  The bride's name was Niva.  After Niva and the groom kissed we went to the hall to eat food.  Then we went home and slept.

After we slept I was taken for photos.  The photos I took were great.  When we finished taking photos we went to a celebration for Niva's wedding.  I had some raro, lollies and for lunch I had bread, rice and fish nuggets.  After I had eaten we did three Samoan dances in from of everybody.  Then everybody danced and my cousins and I danced too.  I had a great time at my cousin's wedding!

Rainbow's End

In the holidays I went to my cousins' house for a sleepover. My cousins' names are Serah, Asua and Satula.  Satula is my little cousin.  Satula is only one year old.

While I was staying with my cousins we went to Rainbow's End.  First, when we got there, we went on the rollercoaster ride.  It was lots of fun because we went up and down, and around a loop.  I was screaming but it wasn't scary.  

The next ride that we went to was called the 'AA Drivers Town'.  We had to drive the cars on our own.  It was like driving on a real road and it had some street signs.  I felt great that I could read the street signs!  

Next we went to the restaurant and we ate sushi and salmon. I love sushi.  For desert we had ice cream with syrup, chocolate and sprinkles.  

Then, because I was feeling sick from eating too much desert, we went home.  Once we got home we had a rest.  I felt better after I had had a sleep.  I had a great time with my cousins at Rainbow's End!

Saint Patrick's Day

On Friday it was Saint Patrick's Day. In the morning we went to church to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day. First, at church, we knelt and prayed to God and Jesus. Then we sang nicely to God. After Mass we went back to school. Next we ate our morning tea. 

We had a short morning tea time. Then the bell rang and we all met outside the library. Next Miss Bullot put us into our teams. My team leader was called Thai and my second team leader was Lasike. 

The first activity we did was in my classroom. We made paper planes for Irish Airways with Miss Craig. We made the Irish Airway Planes by ourselves. This was my favourite activity because we got to decorate our planes with crayons and coloured markers. At the end we had to write our names or our initials on our planes. After that we went to Sister Evalesi's room to paint rainbows on paper. We also had to write our names on our pieces of paper at the end. 

Then we went outside and played 'Crab Crawl and Rabbit Hop Running, and Duck Walk with Mrs Twomy.  Our next 
activity was an arts and craft activity in Room 5L.  We made Irish Book Marks with Mrs Dines.  The first thing we had to do was to write our names at the back of the book mark.  When we finished writing our name we got to colour our leprachaun in different colours.  

The final game was outside with Miss Chao.  We played 'Steal the Emerald and the Gold'.  We got 20 points out of 20 for all of our art and craft activities and our games.  This meant that our team all helped each other, listened to the teacher and followed her instructions, and our team leader and co-team leader helped and encouraged us to participate in each activity.  Our co-team leader was Lasike, and he won a trophy for excellent leadership qualities.  

When we were all under the tree Miss Bullot gave us all an ice block.  Finally we had our lunch and played.  I had a fantastic day!

Whanau time

In the holidays I went to the beach with my family and my cousins.  My cousins names are Asau and Sarah, and my baby cousin is called Sattewalla.  My cousins were late getting to the beach because they were stuck in the city.  My family and my other cousins were worried about them.  

When my cousins finally arrived at the beach we took out our mermaid tails and we played making mermaids by swimming under the water.  After we finished playing the games we were tired, so we took our mermaid tails off.  Next we got changed in the changing room. Later we played on the sand and then it was time to go.  I like playing and swimming with my cousins at the beach.

Dear God Thank You

Dear God thank you for the rain because we need water to drink.  And thank you God for the sun so our plants can grow strong like the wind.
