Danny the Lion-by Ellma

Learning Intention: We are learning to write a narrative story.

Success Criteria: I know I am successful when I can use full stops, capital letters correctly, and in paragraph form. 
            
                                 Danny the Lion
                     

A long time ago in the jungle lived a humongous lion named Danny. He had nice fur over his body and he eats other animals that came near him. He always played with his friend named Jake.

One day it was Danny's birthday, he invited his  friend Jake. Danny was hoping Jake would come to his birthday. At his birthday he waited for Jake but, sadly he never showed up. Danny was so sad because Jake never came, he was upset.

Three weeks later Danny went to Jake's house to see where Jake was. The door was unlocked so Danny went inside. Danny was looking everywhere for Jake, but he wasn't there. A few minutes later Danny found a note in his bedroom. It said "I am sorry, we moved jungles".

A few years later Danny forgot all about Jake. It was Danny's day off from school, when their was a knock on the door. Danny rushed to open the door.  He was surprised because it was his friend Jake. They both cried of joy and from then on when Jake moved he told Danny.
